China Glaze Atlantis and hauls

I think I'm in love with China Glaze Atlantis. Here is two thick coats of it over one coat of OPI Black Onyx:

OMG SPARKLES

I can't stop looking at it. I want to redo my manicure but I don't want to take this polish off!

Finally, here are some quick pictures of my hauls from the past couple of days:

DRUGSTORE HAUL
Revlon Royal, Jesse's Girl Confetti, Jesse's Girl Beach Baby, Wet N Wild Party of Five Glitters
(I looked for Party of Five Glitters EVERYWHERE and finally found it at Rite Aid!)

ULTA HAUL
Orly Lunar Eclipse, China Glaze Ruby Pumps, ChG Ahoy!, ChG Whitecap, Essie Silken Cord

OPI Katy Perry Collection

My boyfriend is awesome and bought me the entire Katy Perry collection!

The One That Got Away, Last Friday Night, Black Shatter, Teenage Dream, Not Like The Movies

Swatched (I messed up the Black Shatter on Last Friday Night, oops!) 2 coats of 1 & 2, 3 coats of 3 & 4.

Blurry flash picture of 3 coats of Teenage Dream.

My sister's nails - 3 coats of Last Friday Night with Black Shatter on alternating nails

I know these are everywhere but they really are awesome! Expect to see more OPI Katy Perry manicures in the future.

Zoya Adina, color spoons, and NOTD

I got my Zoya order the other day. I am finally getting a chance to post it due to leaving work early because of this:

Woo hoo.

Intimate collection color spoons:

Marley, Dove, Caitlin, Danni, Jules, and Gemma. My favorites are Dove, Danni, and Gemma.

The individual color spoons I got:

Joy, Tangy, Zara, Gilda, Tangy (whoops, that was an accident), and Penny.
I'm planning on buying full bottles of Tangy, Gilda, and possibly Zara.

And the star of the show, Adina:

(Yes, that is Nfu Oh 65 still on my nails! Mmmm, holo.)

I love it.

And to finish off this image heavy entry, here's what I'm wearing today:

Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Rockstar Pink over Essie Blanc. Excuse the chips. :( I am not a fan of this Essie formula.

Nfu Oh 65

It came yesterday!

There are no words for this polish.

Application was patchy as others have said but it's totally worth it. I can't get over how blingy the holo is. This is two coats with no top coat.

ETA: It's been on for practically 48 hours and still no chips. I used the "sandwich" method mentioned here at Lacquerized.

China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le

Current manicure: China Glaze Secret Peri-Wink-Le (Peri-wink-le? Peri-WINK-le?). I own more brands than China Glaze and Sally Hansen, I promise! :P

Anyway, I picked up this polish yesterday and I absolutely love it. I'm a huge glitter/shimmer person and haven't worn a "plain" polish in probably years (at least, not without putting glitter over it) but I was really in the mood for a simple creme. I really like this color; it's a nice purple/gray/blue and took 2 coats for opacity.

One of these days I'll actually have my camera with me during the daytime so I can take decent pictures in the sun.

In other news, I ended up giving my bottle of Sally Hansen Ivy League to my sister, who said that she actually lost a bottle of that color in the house fire we had in October. Neat!

Ivy League

Tried out my bottle of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Ivy League polish last night. I love it in the bottle but I'm not a huge fan of it on my nails. It's a bit too yellow. However, I probably could have used another coat but I was feeling lazy. This is two coats topped with Seche Vite.

LCD and Pink Voltage

Yesterday I tried a manicure using only Sally Hansen HD LCD, which even after five coats looked way too sheer for me. I ended up removing it and then layering two coats of LCD over two coats of China Glaze Pink Voltage, which I loved. Some crummy pictures follow. I had a hard time capturing the shimmer - in real life it's definitely blue and not silver.

Cloudy weather on the drive to work. (Disclaimer: I was at a stop light)

And inside:

Okay, so I lied.

Crappy phone picture of my manicure from a couple days ago!

This is Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear's Rockstar Pink layered over China Glaze's Flying Dragon (Neon). I HATED Flying Dragon by itself but loved it like this.

(Also, look at those nubbins! I like short nails but this is way too short for me. Sigh.)

First post!

Well, I have officially been bitten by the bug and decided to start a nail polish blog. I have loved nail polish for as long as I can remember but have just recently started to get more into it. Other nail polish blogs were the main catalyst. :P I'm at work right now with no access to my pictures but I will be posting some later!
